I think it's prudent to be clear about who this book is designed for. I regularly come across two types of business owners—and only one of them will derive any benefit from this book.
The first type of business owner is looking for the quick fix. The second type of business owner recognizes that building a high-performance culture isn’t something that’s accomplished overnight. This person recognizes that developing real, lasting, long-term relationships with their people takes patience and dedication—and that there is no quick fix.
So, if you look at training and developing your people as an expense with a short shelf life, there’s not much I can help you with.
